WOOD Green Animal Shelter held its annual Pet Service on Sunday at Ely Cathedral. The event, which is now in its 22nd year, included a blessing from Cannon Alan Hargrave for around 50 pets, which included alpacas, a donkey, an owl, cats and a guinea pig.

Sharon Evans, director of fund-raising and communications for Wood Green Animal Shelters said, "This is always a hugely popular event for the local community and also those loyal supporters of Wood Green.
