Lettuce tours, tractor rides and a scarecrow competition were all just some of the fun activities on offer at the annual G’s Farm Sunday open day.
Wicken Coronation Band played to entertain the crowds of hundreds of people who flocked to the day at the G’s Social Centre in Barway.
Mr Celery was on hand to mingle and had his picture taken with visitors who were also able to learn interesting facts about mushrooms during the afternoon.
There were guided woodland walks as well as farm and factory tours which gave people a better understanding of the farm and its working.
The tractor rides were a hit with visitors of all ages including Ely mayor Councillor Richard Hobbs who popped along for the afternoon. Seven schools had created scarecrows for the competition which were on show near the farm machinery field for people to admire and to vote for their favourite
