She joined other Soham primary school youngsters for a fruitful morning at the town's Budgens supermarket on Saturday.
The children from St. Andrew's Primary School met Adrian Barlow, chief executive of the industry association, English Apples and Pears.
Wisbech grower, David Wheeler, brought a tractor load of apples direct from his orchard for the event, which took place to mark the start of British Food Fortnight.
