DESPITE rather cold and unpredictable weather, the Friends of Jubilee Gardens annual plant sale was a great success on Sunday. More than £500 was raised towards further enhancement of the gardens. The friends are grateful for the generous donations of plants and produce from local stores, garden centres and growers. Thanks are also due to many members of the friends who manned the event and donated plants.
