FOUR men denied poaching in Witcham when they appeared in court this week.
The men - all from south-east London - are accused of trespassing in pursuit of game at Swarm Haugh Closes, Witcham Farm, Witcham, on November 29.
Alfred Harris, 27, and James Harris, both of Thistlebrook; Robert Harris, 23, of Mountjoy Close; and William Powell, 59, of Harold Wilson House, Arnott Close, had their case adjourned for a pre-trial review on February 18.
A fifth defendant, 23-year-old Billy Smith of Thistlebrook, failed to attend court and his case was also adjourned for four weeks.
