Form the Future will host an enterprise day for Year 8 students at Ely College on Friday June 16.

Running from 9am to 3pm, the idea of the day is for students to work in teams to develop a new business product or service.

“Volunteers work in classrooms to help the students to develop their ideas, a marketing plan, logo and pitch,” said Anne Bailey of Form the Future.

“It is a fun-filled day which helps the students to find out what it takes to be an entrepreneur and the skills required in business.

“It also helps to promote team working, leadership and presentation skills.”

The Enterprise Day is one of three Signpost2Skills events taking place at Ely College on June 16.

Form the Future is also organising a ‘What’s My Line?’ session for the Year 7 students as well as a series of employability skills sessions for the Year 11 students.
