A Cambridgeshire-based sports coaching group for under 5s embraced the outdoors with hot chocolate and shmores during half term.

All4sports held forest school drama workshops for three days at Downham Feoffees Primary Academy.

Leaving all electronics at home, the children enjoyed forest school and drama games spending time from 10am to 3pm outside in the fresh, sunny weather.

They even had lunch outside cooked on the camp fire consisting of wraps, beans, jacket potatoes, hot chocolate, soup and shmores.

They used tools and natural materials to cut wood, build dens and find the most interesting insects, along with readings of Going on a Bear Hunt and finding The Gruffalo.

A spokesperson from All4Sports said: “The children went home ‘buzzing’ as one parent commented, full of talk of all the things they had experienced.

“Feedback from the parents was fantastic and the smiles on the children’s faces said it all.”
