A man was rushed to hospital on Tuesday night after colliding with an opponent during a game of football.
Magpas Helimedix and the East of England Ambulance Service were called at about 9pm on Wednesday night to Ely, following reports of a collision involving two men who were playing football, which resulted in one man dislocating his shoulder.
A spokesman for Magpas said: “The Magpas team assessed one of the players who had sustained an injury. The Helimedix team administered strong pain relief and then accompanied the man, in his 20s, in a land ambulance, to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. “On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable condition. The other player was uninjured.”
