SATURDAY was a busy day for the fundraisers of St Andrew's Church, Soham. During the morning, crowds gathered in the churchyard clutching their favourite cuddly toys.
For the price of £1, visitors could attach a parachute to their teddies and launch them from the top of the tower. In case of any mishaps, there was a teddy's hospital staffed by Ellie and Radtanarak.
Olivia Ross, of Soham, gave Hospital Teddy a final hug before he embarked on his adventure.
In the evening, the church held a jazz picnic in the garden of Linda and Chris Palmer. Music was provided by Amadeus Boldwicket's Red Hot Peppers.
Proceeds from both events will go to the St Andrews Church development fund.
