MEMBERS met in the village hall on Friday, September 15 after the summer break. Chairman Pam Hayes welcomed members and several visitors and announced that the coffee morning held at her house in August had raised £280 for the club charity, The Milton Children's Hospice. The demonstrator for the evening was Crystal Dyball, from Norwich, and her title was 'floral fun'. She produced six artistic designs using unusual containers and beautiful flowers, including lovely pom-pom dahlias, grown by her mother. A vote of thanks was given by Elizabeth Miller. A cake stall added £43 to the money for the club charity. A workshop, to be held on Saturday, October 21 in the village hall, will cost £5 and is open to non-members. Tickets for the open meeting on Friday, November 17, are now on sale and priced at £3 for members and £10 for non-members, to include light refreshments.

National demonstrator Jonathan Moseley, from Dronfield, will present 'Christmas concepts' and there will be an extensive Christmas sales table. For information about the workshop and the November

meeting, contact Pam Hayes on 01353 860102 or Pam Sole on 01353 863421.
