THE first Haddenham Beer Festival was held on April 4 and attracted some top quality rock bands, beers and crowds.
The event was staged at the Robert Arkenstall Centre with the bands inside and the beer outside in a marquee. A range of 18 beers and four ciders was available to festival goers who had travelled from as far as Greece and Finland to hear the bands and taste the brews. The eight bands included IO Earth, who had recently won an award for the best debut album.
The event was organised by Virtual Festivals who also organise the Cambridge Rock Festival which this year is being held on August 5-8.
