RECENT cancellations to First Capital Connect (FCC) train services in the region are not expected to affect commuters travelling from Cambridge to London King's Cross today.
Driver shortages on several FCC managed routes has led to cancellations on the Thameslink route between Bedford and Brighton today (Thursday) and also saw dozens of trains cancelled travelling between King's Lynn and King's Cross at the weekend.
Train drivers' union, ASLEF, is locked in ongoing talks with FCC to try and avert further strike action.
