POLICE officers from the Serious and Organised Crime Squad raided a home in Soham early on Monday morning.

The specialist firearms officers acting on intelligence cordoned off the property in Rosebay Gardens just before 7am under pre-planned Operation Ludlow.

Yesterday (Wednesday) Stuart McLatchie, 22, of Rosebay Gardens, Soham, was due to appear before Cambridge Magistrates' Court charged with converting a firearm, buying and possessing ammunition and possessing a prohibited weapon.
