Fire station officer Julie Sandbrook fulfilled a driving ambition recently when she took to the streets of Ely at the controls of a dustcart for some sweeping up.

Julie, who works as a community liaison officer at Queen Adelaide fire station, spent time learning all about the rubbish collection process from staff at waste agency Cleanaway, which organised the trip.
