Fire fighters called to deliberate school fire

EMERGENCY crews were called to deal with a deliberate fire at a school.

Arsonists set alight to rubbish near to Burwell Village College on Saturday (October 15) at 8.15pm.

Not knowing whether it could affect the building, firefighters from Burwell and Soham attended the blaze but got it under control within a couple of minutes.

A fire service spokesperson confirmed the incident was caused by deliberate ignition.
