FIRE crews were called to the Elean Industrial Estate in Sutton last night after a fire broke out in a power station.
The blaze took hold at around 8.30pm at the Elean Power Station after a build up of heat caused the machinery to catch fire.
Crews from Sutton, Ely and Chatteris rushed to the scene and managed to quell the flames within an hour. Damage was limited to a small area and the straw-burning plant was declared operational again at around midnight.
