ARSONISTS struck again at a condemned block of flats in Littleport - leaving its vulnerable residents terrified.

A shed was set on fire at Wisbech Road just after midnight today (Thursday) - the fifth time in two weeks that arsonists have targeted the dilapidated buildings.

Three residents are still living in the flats, whilst their housing association Sanctuary Hereward has moved all other residents to new-build homes across the road.

Diane Giles, who has been having sleepless nights as a result of the attacks, is left with no next door neighbours to help her if there is a fire.

A traveller and a disabled woman down the block have also been left high and dry by Sanctuary Hereward, who have set neither a date for the flats' demolition or a moving date for residents. The decision to demolish the buildings was made in 2007.
