SATURDAY'S sunshine brought out the visitors and brought in the cash when the annual Etheldreda Fair took place on Cathedral Green.
A range of stalls and games kept the young and young-at-heart entertained and raised over £3,000 for the Ely Choir Tour Fund. Youngsters enjoyed the Punch and Judy Show and for the first time the organisers sold out of strawberries and cream. A cafe in the Cathedral Centre proved a welcome refreshment stop.
