LUCKY winners of the Mayor's Charity Raffle will be presented with their prizes next Saturday, March 29, just before the screening of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race.

Tickets are still available and the prize-giving will take place at Ely's Atrium Club in Newnham Street at 4.45pm, just before the boat race, founded by the former Dean of Ely, Charles Merivale, will be screened.

The top ticket holder will win a fabulous television with second and third prize-winners receiving, respectively free annual membership to the Atrium Club and one week's free rental of a Portuguese villa with a private pool

There are many other prizes to be won in the raffle which has been launched by Ely Mayor, Councillor Ron Bradney to boost his Charity of the Year, the St John Ambulance Waterwing Project which provides sailing for disabled youngsters.

Tickets are available and cost just £1, which includes a five per cent discount voucher for Hughes Electrical in the High Street.

Anyone wishing to take part in the raffle can buy tickets from the Ely Standard offices at 38 Market Street, Ely.
