An eye catching light display inspired by the Star of Bethlehem is currently on show at Ely Cathedral.
Created by artist Jayson Haebich and curated by visual arts advisor Jacquiline Creswell, the modern day work of art is on display until January 18.
This unique installation uses the latest technology and laser beams to create the impression of a magnificent star hovering above the nave of the cathedral.
Visitors will be able to engage with the installation by controlling the shape and colour of the star via an iPad.
Visible throughout the day, the star is brightest when light levels are minimal.
It is sponsored by The Friends of Ely Cathedral. Admission by cathedral ticket or pass.
