SOHAM man Darren Thurling had an extra four months added to his current prison term by magistrates this week.
Thurling, 30, of The Causeway, had admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance on January 10.
That offence put him in breach of a suspended three month sentence he was given last December for theft, so Ely magistrates activated that sentence.
They also gave him another 28-day sentence for driving while disqualified, and banned him from driving for 28 days.
Thurling had been expected to be released from prison on April 28, the new sentences are due to begin on that date.
