People with sensory loss such as blindness or deafness were able to learn more about support services available at a special event in Ely.
Organisations showcased what they can offer and also promoted volunteer opportunities at the sensory event at the city’s library yesterday (Thursday).
Those who there included: Camsight, Isle of Ely Society for the Blind, RNIB, Hearing dogs for the Deaf, Cambridge Hearing Help, Living Paintings, Fenprobe, Optelec, County Council Sensory Services and of course the Library Service.
Other organisations sent material for display.
