CAMBRIDGESHIRE'S Euro MP joined protesters as part of a campaign against coffee giant Starbucks.

The chain, which has a shop in Ely's High Street, was the target of an Oxfam street protest in Cambridge last week to give Ethiopian coffee growers a fairer trading deal.

Mr Howitt MEP, who is the European Parliament spokesman on Corporate Social Responsibility, wore a sandwich board outside a Cambridge branch on Friday.
