AN Ely woman has died following a collision on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 on Wednesday.
AN Ely woman has died following a collision on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 on Wednesday.
Keziah Carmen Smit, of Jubilee Terrace, died when her Renault Clio collided with an articulated lorry on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 yesterday.
The crash took place at about 6.30pm at Kennett, one and a half miles east of the junction with the A11. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
Twenty-year-old Smit, who was a youth worker, was reportedly on her way to Bury St Edmunds to run a youth group when the incident took place.

An inquest into her death is expected to be opened by the coroner on Friday.
Police are urging anyone who saw the crash or the Clio just prior to the collision to contact them.
