A FORTY-year-old motorist who shunted into a car in Lynn Road at Ely has admitted careless driving.
Katie Feltwell, 40, of Lynn Road, Chettisham, also admitted driving without insurance when she appeared at the city courthouse.
Feltwell was driving a Renault Clio when she hit a car being driven by Trevor Jeakins, said prosecutor Laura Mardell.
"Feltwell failed to stop behind his car, causing damage to the vehicle and causing him slight injury," she added.

Magistrates fined Feltwell a total of �150. She must pay �100 compensation to Mr Jeakins, to pay for his insurance policy excess; and was ordered to pay �60 costs and a �15 surcharge.
She told the court: "My father had died unexpectedly, and I simply forgot to renew my insurance policy.
