THREE men from the Ely area were arrested after an incident outside a Newmarket pub in the early hours of Monday morning.
Suffolk police were called to the Golden Lion, in High Street, at about 1.50am to reports of an affray outside the pub involving a large group.
Officers moved in to diffuse the scuffle and arrested three men, all aged 20 and from the Ely area, on suspicion of affray. The men ware being held at the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident, or from the victims themselves.
