Ely young tennis players enjoy Christmas fun

Junior tennis players from Ely based 10is Academy met for their annual Christmas party at Play2Day in Guyhirn..

They spent over three hours playing laser-tag, snooker and bowling. Parents joined the bowling. The atmosphere was very jovial and ended 2015 the way it started.

Sebastien Scaux said: “2015 was a good year for us - the juniors had some great victories in the AEGON competitions (team tennis), we ran a very successful Ely TC Championship (with the under 18s displaying the best match of the day) and we have had families bonding making the academy a nice place to be.

“A lot of work as been done and it will hopefully show in 2016. A foreign exchange with an academy in Barcelona is one of the many projects that should go ahead, and we will carry on providing some cheap coaching like in Witchford (£1 per hour).”
