POETS House, which opens in Ely later this month, announced this week that it has selected emergency medical charity Magpas as its chosen charity.

To celebrate the announcement, chef Leah Jenson and butler Joseph Featherstone from Poets House dropped into the Magpas Helimedix base to serve afternoon tea, including a selection of cakes and sandwiches.

For Leah and Joseph, it was a welcome opportunity to rehearse for the opening of Poets House, in St Mary’s Street, set to take place on April 29.
