A RECEPTIONIST was chosen by her colleagues to attend a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
Margaret Duffield, who works for Cambridgeshire County Council at Noble House, in Ely, represented the council with her husband Michael.
Every year a limited number of tickets are available for members of the community to be recommended by their colleagues to attend a Royal Garden Party.
Margaret, who lives in Wardy Hill, near Ely, said: βIt was a great privilege to attend the Royal Garden Party and I am enormously grateful to the colleagues who recommended me. We walked through the beautiful gardens of Buckingham Palace and chatted with other people before reaching our marquee. It was a day I will never forget.β
