HARDY athletes from the Ely Tri Club took part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and raised more than �600 for the Lisa Barnes Memorial Fund.
The five-strong group all posted impressive results in what were very hot conditions. Results (Half Marathon) Sandra Bottomley came home in 1hr 57mins 38secs and Sharon Green 2hrs 17mins 06secs in the half marathon while Leighton Barker (3hrs 30mins 41secs), Simon Bottomley (3hrs 54mins 08secs) and Louise Barker (3hrs 56mins 44secs) all posted impressive times in the marathon.
