Successful summer league start for Ely Netball Club

Ely Netball Club have started a successful summer league campaign.

Ely 3 beat MI73 (38-32) in a tightly contested game which saw Ely 3 manage to pull away to take the lead, being their second win a row; and another close game saw Ely 2 beat Hawks 2 (36-34).

Ely Netball Club will be running Back to Netball sessions throughout June on Wednesday evenings at Witchford Village College from 7.30-9pm.

The sessions are open to ladies aged 16+ who would like to return to netball or would like to give it a go for the first time.

The sessions will be fun and friendly, building on what has been a successful year for England Netball, having seen our national team win gold at the Commonwealth Games.

Ely Netball Club welcomes more ladies join in this growing sport.
