THE early communion on Easter Sunday was conducted by the Superintendent Minister, the Rev Barbara Garwood. This was followed by an Easter breakfast and then morning worship, which was led by David Middleton. The subject of the sermon was that by not believing what we are told we can miss out on great joy. The children brought in Easter biscuits that had been made in Gift Club. The evening communion service was taken by the Rev Christopher Bishop. The organists for the day was Donald Monk and Alan Bulley.
The services next Sunday will be: 10.30am - morning worship (Mr A. Murfitt); 6.30pm: the Rev MacInally. There will be a Shoppers' Lunch as usual on Thursday, from midday till 1.30pm.
