AN Ely man was jailed for six years and will remain on the sex offenders’ register for life after sexually assaulting a child.
Forty-year-old Michael Lee, of Parsons Lane, Ely, was sentenced to six years in prison by judge Gareth Hawkesworth following a hearing at Cambridge Crown Court on Friday.
Lee, who pleaded guilty to two counts of sexually assaulting a child, was also banned for five years from working, living or contacting children and banned from making contact with a parent or legal guardian of a young person under 16.
