CHARGES of attempted theft and driving when unfit through drink have been denied by Ely man Robert Seymour.
Seymour, 37, of Merlin Drive, is accused of attempted to steal a Peugeot 505 car belonging to Kenneth Ellis in Ely on June 3.
He is further accused of driving that car in Chapel Street at Ely when unfit through drink on the same date.
City magistrates have given Seymour unconditional bail until the date of his trial on September 3.
