A 21-year-old Ely man is due to appear in court this morning (Thursday) charged with rape after a teenager was attacked in the city in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Samuel Kimani Jennings, of Stour Green, Ely will appear before Cambridge Magistrates Court.
The 18-year-old girl was attacked in Cromwell Road as she walked home from Ely railway station following a night out in Cambridge with friends.
