Ely’s Babylon Gallery will host performances by two bands on Friday July 20.
Elma, comprising of songwriter/guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Mark Ellis and singer Ellie Gillett, will perform on the same night as modern Cambridge-based country music duo Tennessee Twin.
Elma have toured with the Beta Band’s Steve Mason and cult ‘80s band The Bible while Tennessee Twins’ first single, ‘Wings of Red, White and Blue’ won the 2018 Nashville Music City / British Airways songwriting competition.
They bring the sounds of Nashville to the UK, performing regularly around Cambridge and beyond.
Expect lush harmonies and acoustic grooves with a mix of original songs, modern country classics and hits from the ‘Nashville’ TV series.
Tickets, £10, are available by calling
01353 616991 or in person from the Babylon ARTS box office.
