ELY jeweller Julieta Mayer is designing exclusive jewellery in aid of this year’s Pink Rose Appeal for breast cancer care at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

Julieta attended a special preview lunch event in Cambridge which gave supporters of the appeal the opportunity to find out more about the new fundraising activities that are being launched this year.

The Pink Rose Appeal, managed by Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT), has raised more than £450,000 since 2004 for breast cancer research and treatment at Addenbrooke’s.

The trust held a preview evening of Julieta’s exclusive Mayer Pink Rose jewellery made with fresh water pearls and rose quartz to appeal to younger fundraisers.

Head of community fundraising at the trust, Michelle Gray, said: “We’re thrilled that Julieta is kindly supporting the Pink Rose Appeal. The appeal helps make a difference for hundreds of women and men who suffer from breast cancer.”
