A woman has died this afternoon after she was involved in a crash between a lorry and a car in Ely.
She was killed on the A10, Ely Road today (September 27) at around 1.45pm, Cambridgeshire Police have confirmed.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “The A10, Ely Road has been closed following a fatal collision between a car and a lorry at 1.45pm today.
“A woman who was driving the car has died. There are no other reported injuries. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
“Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 230 of 27 September or report online at www.cambs.police.uk/report.”
