Ely & District Model Railway Club celebrates 40 years

Ely & District Model Railway Club celebrated its 40th anniversary with a meal at The Cutter in Ely.

Around 40 current members, partners and friends attended the event, which featured a celebration cake with the names of model railway layouts the club has built over four decades.
There was then a call-out for new members. The club meets on Tuesday evenings; “you can learn new skills/share common interests”, say members.
The club will hold its 39th exhibition on Saturday May 20.
