ELY’S Funk it Up Dance School welcomed a host of top international acts to this city this week, including a member of Britain’s Got Talent finalists Flawless.
The school hosted more than 30 aspiring street dancers as part of a week-long summer school, with students treated to visits from many of the top street dance instructors from across the UK.
Funk it Up founder Sarah Baker, told the Ely Standard: “The guys who came down worked us all very hard but it was great fun, we had dancers young and old take part and some who had come from as far as Edinburgh and Manchester.”
The classes took place at The Forum on Barton Road, with the visit of Steady from top dance crew Flawless among the highlights for students.
The dance school will now begin preparations for its annual show, set to take place at the turn of the new year.
