PUPILS at Ely College bounced, skipped and dance their way to hundreds of pounds to charity by taking part in a sports marathon.

The 12-hour event saw pupils turn their hand to a range of sports and activities, including group dance, table tennis and trampoline, all in aid of the Malcolm Whales Foundation and the Friends of the Lantern School’s crossing appeal.

More than 90 students took part in the event, which ran from 7am-7pm at the Downham Road college, and they managed to raise an impressive 1,750 for the cancer charity.

The event was organised by students Alice Easey, Kate Marsters, and Megan Crabtree.
