AT the meeting held on April 16 , the chairman welcomed two new members and thanked Lillian and Liz for the refreshments and flowers. Minutes from the last meeting were read and signed. Birthday cards were given to members and Happy Birthday was sung. The speaker for the evening was Jill from Julian Graves. She began the evening by telling us how Julian Graves was started, and then we were told all about the different nuts and fruit and why they were good for the body. After refreshments were served, Jill was asked to judge the competition, which was a favourite doll. Ruth then gave her report on the council meeting that was held in March at March. The meeting closed with singing. Next meeting is on May 14 at 7.30pm the Old Dispensary in St Mary's Street. Everyone welcome.
