THE December meeting took the form of a Christmas party and the Stuntney and Witchford WI groups were invited along. It began with the singing of Jerusalem and then the important business of the month was completed before the party began.

The visitors were entertained with Christmas songs, music and readings from The Twelve Days of Christmas, and carols, Mr Lowe from The Octagon provided accompaniment on his piano.

Buffet refreshments provided by members were enjoyed with mulled wine. The evening ended with a large raffle and the singing of Auld Lang Syne. Ely City WI was thanked by their visitors for a very enjoyable evening.
