Ely Cathedral choristers have been spreading festive cheer across the community by singing carols at local care homes and day centres.
Choristers visited Vera James House care home and Bedford House day centre, both in Ely, as well as Littleport Grange Nursing Home.
Paul Trepte, director of music at Ely Cathedral, said: “The choristers love to go out in small groups to sing in nursing homes and day centres.
“The boys really understand that they can contribute something very special by singing for people who are unlikely to be able to get to the cathedral.
“I think it’s one of the most important things we do at this time of year.”
