THE victim of an assault was awarded �400 compensation by Ely magistrates this week.
Krzysztof Sajdak, 28, of Nutholt Lane, Ely, had admitted assaulting Anna Beben in Ely on June 6.
He must pay the compensation to Ms Beben, carry out 200 hours of unpaid work, and pay �60 costs.
