Ely-based accountancy firm Youngman & Co’s founder John Youngman is retiring and Lovewell Blake partner Brian Floringer will fill the role.
The deal will see Youngman & Co staff continue to work out of the firm’s Lynn Road offices, under the Lovewell Blake banner.
Lovewell Blake, founded in 1858, has nine offices in Norfolk and Suffolk and the Ely office will be its first venture into Cambridgeshire.
Paul Williams from Youngman & Co, who together with the rest of the team will join Lovewell Blake on 1 February, said: “This move brings one of the most respected names in accountancy into Ely, whilst retaining the people and the service which our clients value.”
