Elderly victim frightened after men break into Landbeach home

Three men broke into a house in Waterbeach Road, Landbeach, at around 12.30pm yesterday but made off after being disturbed when the elderly victim returned home.

The offenders are described as white men in their late teens or early 20s. All were wearing shorts and one was described as wearing a red t-shirt.

The men made off on foot towards the A10, crossing the road and officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area.

Detective Constable Ian Butcher said: “Although nothing was taken this was a particularly frightening experience for the elderly victim and we are keen to catch the offenders as soon as possible.”
