A 60-year-old woman suffered a medical emergency before losing control of her car in Littleport last week.
The accident, which happened on Wednesday June 29 shortly before midday, involved a single vehicle leaving the road at Victoria Street, close to The Swan public house.
The lady was found conscious and breathing but very shaken, however the vehicle was completely written off having collided with a tree in the dyke.
PC Jack Briggs attended the incident along with colleagues from the ambulance service.
