An eco-friendly resource centre in Witchford will be paid a visit by its furry mascot this week.
‘Eco-frenchie,’ the eco-friendly dog will be making an appearance at the Re-imagine Resource Centre to lend a hand in making pet coats using non-recyclable materials which often get discarded by businesses across the region.
Manager, Ruth Marley, said: “We stock all kinds of great resources but we are working on using high-viz materials which cannot be recycled and has to go to landfill.
“We make these fantastic dog coat kits and kiddi-cuff kits out of this material and they are proving very popular. “We’re turning waste things into great things, without costing the earth.”
