RACKHAM School, Witchford, pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 have spent the last three weeks nurturing some chicken eggs in an incubator and the little ones hatched out on Monday much to their delight.

"The children absolutely loved this project and were absolutely enthralled during the hatching", said teacher Sarah Hutchinson

The project was linked to Easter and a subject they will be studying in the summer term - life cycles.
